Meet the Founder
I named Salt City Acquisitions after the wonderful Salt Lake City. My name is Cameron McLaughlin and I am a Utah native. I strongly believe that the people and the businesses in this state have a prosperous future ahead.
Entrepreneurship was instilled in me at an early age as I watched my parents run their own small business. In fact, my first job was door-to-door sales for their company. Working for them and other blue-collar jobs before college taught me hard work, determination, and a find-a-way attitude. My professional experience after school was at a commercial real estate investment firm, where I helped my firm acquire close to $1 billion worth of apartments.
I attended Brigham Young University and received both my Bachelor of Science in Economics as well as my Master in Business Administration (MBA) degrees. During my undergraduate degree, I played semi-professional soccer and was known for my fierce competitive nature as well as my relentless running and work ethic.
